Inrotech has received an order from Santierul Naval Orsova Shipyard, a leading shipbuilder in Romania. The company invest in high quality welding automation as a response to the increasing demand of domestic and foreign river barge activities.
The agreement between Orsova Shipyard and Inrotech includes an Inrotech-MicroTwin micropanel line for construction of river barge cargos, and technical vessels. As a response to the increasing demands and specialization in domestic activities as well as international competitiveness Orsova Shipyard continues with smart investments in its production facilities.
The Orsova shipyard was founded in 1890 as a small repair workshop for ships participating in the construction of the Iron Gates – SIP Yugoslavia navigable canal. Currently, its main activities are the construction of ships intended for intra-Community delivery, and ship repairs for both domestic and foreign markets.
The order from Orsova Shipyard consists of an Inrotech-MicroTwin for the welding of micro panels, sub-assemblies and T-profiles. This welding solution will be installed at Orsova Shipyard in the beginning of 2024.
Inrotech’s scope of supply also includes needed services like supervision installation, training, comprehensive spare parts packages, warranty with maintenance agreements, and production support.
